unable upgrade

With the latest CTP I tried to upgrade.
firts it asked to remove some software (virtual CDs)
then I works for more than 2 hours and after a reboot I got an error: Vista was unable to upgrade. Previous windows has been restored.
I must say the restore was Perfect! (this is great)
But I was not able to upgrade my installation.
the clean install took more than 1 hour but succeded!

A number of factors can lead to this:
Incompatible software such as the one you mentioned, AntiVirus Incompatible hardware device internal or external, limited hard disk space, memory

I have tried several times to upgrade Windows XP to Vista but it hangs at "Completing Upgrade" At this point I have to do a cold boot and the system is rolled back. I have even tried to upgrade a fresh install of XP and can not get any further. Any help will be appreciated that will allow me to install Vista.

I have the same exact problem. repeated message that "drive is not ready for use...please check drive...." even though drive and disk seem to be functioning fine.

I have the same problem. program hangs at 'completing upgrade" and get "drive no ready for use " error
